Kiln finished firing, so on a positive note I've got a BUNCH of stuff I'm excited about to finish for the next firing! The re-arranged barn-studio will be a lot easier to do photography in, and I've got a bunch to do with the stuff I've been meaning to get to but haven't had time, the stuff I need to reshoot, and the stuff up-n-coming! And later this week and next week I'll probably have a full load of painting/repair/whatever-is-needed so I STILL won't get to it! LOL figures, huh!
Sigh, well, got the vast majority of my bits n bobs out of the nice cushy luxury-but-temporary studio and back to my drippy-old-barn studio. Only things left, one set of shelves, a table, and a bunch of shipping boxes. whoo haa. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted! Still have to figure out how to shoe-horn most of this into the shop, but I think I've got most of it figured out! Today was all the heavy stuff, plaster forms, ware boards, boxes of finished products that I've been storing there, tools, and all the other stray assorted thingamabobs one needs for a pottery studio. Most of the clay and one set of shelves came back yesterday, the rest will come back tomorrow.

Clay has always fascinated me, its many colors and textures, the shapes you can create using it, even the feel of it squishing in my hand. Even after years of playing in the mud I find myself exploring new ideas and I hope my work shows this. Archives
