I've loved Bonsai for years...
But my success rate early on was not very good. So I started exploring other ways to participate, and found bonsai pots were fun! I've since actually managed to keep my trees healthy, so its been an educational adventure!
A simple accent pot
This is a very simple triangle of clay draped over a form, with feet added. It could be used for a more modern display of a tree, but will probably be best used for an accent planting. Its about 6 inches across, and is made of a red clay with a simple oxide finish. Very elegant! I've got a few listed that are similar to this, and I think they'd look wonderful under a kokedama, or moss ball planting!
A large yellow slab pot
This one is fairly large and was an attempt to duplicate a glaze seen in an exhibition. I think it came out pretty close, and this one will look great with something that has fall color or blooms.
A bunch of cute little kusamono pots
Most of the pots I've been working on recently are small kusamono planters, although I do have a few larger ones coming soon! The little ones I've listed recently range from just under 3 inches across to some just over 4 inches across.
A few pots from the past!
These are some of the most recent pots I've sold Etsy, click on the photo to check it out there!
More past photos!
These three just happened to be the first ones out of the box tonight, I've got pictures, measurements, weights, and I'm starting to list them. There's more in the box!
Some of the Kusamono pots, a group portrait!
A whole HERD of kusamonos!
I just unloaded the box and unwrapped these to see what I had, then shot this group photo! Most of these are sold.
